Formulas Name : Four Sages’ Chao Yuan Pill
Chinese Name : 四圣朝元丹
Drug Formulation
1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of prepared rehmannia root (stir-fried with amomum), 1 liang each of cinnamon bark and Sichuan pepper (stir-fried after removing the seeds), 4 liang of fennel seeds (stir-fried), 1 liang of Poria cocos, 1 liang of Polygonum multiflorum (steamed with black beans), 1 liang of Achyranthes root (soaked in wine), 1 liang of dried Chinese yam, 1 liang of Eucommia bark (roasted with butter),Goji berries 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (washed with wine) 1 liang, Agarwood 5 qian, Wood Fragrance (not exposed to fire) 5 qian, Atractylodes lancea 1 jin (soaked in 4 liang each of wine, vinegar, salt, and water for 5 days in spring, 3 days in summer, 7 days in fall, and 10 days in winter, then dried in an oven).

Processing
Grind each of the above ingredients into a fine powder, then mix with high-quality wine to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine; if you do not drink alcohol, take them with lightly salted water.
