Jujube

Jujube, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is the ripe fruit of Ziziphus jujuba Mill., a plant of the genus Ziziphus in the Rhamnaceae family. It has the effects of tonifying the middle burner and boosting qi, as well as nourishing the blood and calming the mind. It is primarily used to treat spleen deficiency syndrome, restlessness, and insomnia.

Taiwanese Millstone Herb

Taiwan Millstone Herb, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the whole plant or roots of Abutilon indicum (Linn.) Sweet var. guineense (Schumach.) Feng, a plant in the Malvaceae family. It is distributed in Taiwan Province. It has the effects of promoting blood circulation, detoxifying, and opening the orifices. It is used to treat tinnitus, deafness, and otitis media.

Gan Tu

Gan Tu, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a claystone known as bentonite. Bentonite is a type of clay primarily composed of montmorillonite, mainly produced in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, and Zhejiang, though it is also found in other provinces. However, its mineral composition, impurity content, and adsorption properties may vary across different production sites and even among different strata within the same site. It possesses detoxifying properties and is used to treat food or fungal poisoning.

Boshou, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is the dried fruit of Citrus medica L. var. sarcodactylis Swingle, a plant of the genus Citrus in the Rutaceae family. It has the effects of regulating liver qi, harmonizing the stomach, relieving pain, drying dampness, and resolving phlegm. It is primarily used for liver-stomach qi stagnation, distending pain in the chest and flanks, epigastric fullness and distension, poor appetite and vomiting, and cough with excessive phlegm.
