Drug Formulation

1 large Aconite root, 1.5 qian of Gan Sui (ground), 1 qian of Cnidium monnieri seeds (ground and sifted), and 5 li of musk.

Processing

First, cut a lid from the Aconite root, hollow it out, fill it with the two powders, cover it with the lid, and tie it securely with string;Pour half a jin of fire wine into a pot, place the Aconite root and the scraped-out residue inside, and simmer over low heat. Seal the pot’s opening with bamboo paper; place 7 glutinous rice grains on top of the lid. Once the rice is cooked, remove the mixture, slice it, and dry it; also dry the residue. Grind them together into a fine powder, then add the musk and grind again.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 spoonful each time, insert it into the navel, and apply a medicated plaster externally.
