Chinese Name : 渴龙奔江丹
Drug Formulation
1 liang and a half of white alum, 1 liang, 3 qian, and 5 fen of fire-refined alum, 1 liang of black alum, 2 qian and a half of black lead, 5 qian of mercury (lead-processed), 5 qian of rock salt, 1 qian and 5 fen of realgar, 1 qian and 5 fen of borax, and 1 qian and 5 fen of white arsenic.

Processing
Grind each ingredient into a fine powder. Make a jar from Gan Zi soil in the shape of a ingot jar. First, apply low heat; then add white alum; next, add rock salt; followed by fire-refined alum;borax, and black alum. Stir with a tool until the mixture settles at the bottom of the jar. First, fill a large white jar with water to the brim and bury it so that its rim is level with the ground. Place a large white bowl over the opening of the jar. Cover the mixture inside the bowl with the medicine, and secure it against the jar’s side with string made from hair-textured paper. Use a charcoal fire of 3 fen,7 fen of alkaline soil, and fill the bowl with a mixture of salt water and mud. Surround the jar with tiles, arrange 6 jin of charcoal along the rim, and ignite it. Continue burning until the charcoal is completely consumed. Allow it to cool before removing it. Brush off the white residue from the bottom of the white bowl with a chicken feather, grind it into a fine powder, mix it with glutinous rice paste to form a paste, and coat it with cinnabar.
