30 grams of lotus root nodes, 50 grams of white茅根, 15 jujubes, and 20 grams of corn.Main Ingredients
How To Make
Wash the lotus root nodes and white grass root, chop them separately, place them in a clay pot, add water, and simmer for 20 minutes; strain to extract the liquid. Rinse the red dates and corn thoroughly, place them in a clay pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer until it becomes a thick decoction. Just before it is ready, add the concentrated decoction of lotus root nodes and white grass root, stir well, and simmer until it comes to a boil; it is then ready.

Corn (Yu-mi) reinforces this deputy action, working to tonify the spleen, harmonize the middle and promote urination. Jujubes (Da-zao) function as the harmonizing (envoy) ingredient, working to tonify qi, nourish blood and calm the spirit, harmonize the formula and unite the separate actions into one. The overall effect is to clear heat, stop bleeding, increases platelet count, restoring balance within the blood and heat framework.
