Internal use: 9–15 g, decocted in water. External use: Grind into a powder and apply as a poultice.

Morphological Characteristics
An evergreen shrub. The stems are climbing, with aerial roots at the nodes; tendrils are opposite the leaves; the plant is highly branched and bears suction cups.Leaves are alternate; petioles are 3–7 cm long; there are three leaflets, which are membranous, ovate, with gradually tapering tips, broadly cuneate at the base, and the bases of the lateral leaflets are oblique; margins are sparsely coarsely serrate; leaflets are nearly sessile. Axillary cymes bear yellowish-green, hermaphroditic flowers. Berries are spherical.
Distribution Area
It grows on shaded, moist rock faces and in broad-leaved forests. It is distributed in Yunnan.
