3.Fuyuan Decoction

[Formula] Rhizoma Dioscoreae Oppositae 50 g, Herba Cistanches 20 g, Semen Cuscutae 10 g, 2 Walnut Kernels, 500 g of lean mutton, 1 set of lamb spine, 100 g of Coix Seed, 3 Scallions, appropriate amounts of Ginger, Chinese Prickly Ash, Star Anise, Cooking Wine, Ground Pepper, and Salt.
[Preparation Method] Wash the lamb spine clean and chop it into pieces; wash the lamb meat, remove the blood, and cut it into 1-inch long chunks. Grind Chinese yam, cistanche, dodder seed, and walnut kernel into a coarse powder together, put it in a gauze bag, and chop the ginger and green onion. Put the Chinese herbal medicines, food ingredients, and glutinous rice into a casserole, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, remove the scum, add seasonings, and cook until well-done over low heat.

[Preparation Method] Remove the feathers, viscera, and claws from the sparrows. Mix the semen cuscutae and wolfberries, then place the mixture into the abdomens of the sparrows and sew them up with thread. Put the sparrows in a casserole, add clear water, and boil. After boiling for 1 hour, take out the sparrows. Drink the soup and eat the sparrow meat.
