1.Ginkgo and Winter Melon Seed Beverage

[Source] Shiwu Yu Shizhi

[Functions] Promoting urination to eliminate turbid discharge.

[Indications] Spermatorrhea, white turbid urine, frequent and urgent urination, incomplete emptying of the bladder, etc.

[Formula] 10 Ginkgo Fruits, 30 g Winter Melon Seeds, 15 g Lotus Seeds, 15 g White Pepper Powder, a small amount of White Sugar.

[Preparation Method] Peel and remove the cores from the ginkgo nuts, wash the winter melon seeds clean, and remove the cores from the lotus seeds. Place all of them into an aluminum pot, add an appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes. Strain out the dregs, add white sugar, stir well, and transfer to a jar.

[Usage] One dose per day, taken twice daily.

2.Xiangrikui Gengxin Decoction

[Functions] Inducing diuresis to helps with occasional stranguria.

[Indications] White turbid urine, chyluria.

[Formula] 10 grams of Helianthi annui caulis central part.

[Preparation Method] Soak the stem center in water (enough to fill 2 large bowls) for 2 hours, then bring to a boil and simmer until the volume is reduced by half, and collect the decoction.

[Usage] One dose per day, taken twice daily.

3.Sumi Formula

[Source] Biyong Quanshu

[Functions] Nourish yin, clear heat, and promote urination.

[Indications] Gonorrhea in the elderly, difficult and unsmooth urination, hematospermia, pain in the penis.

[Formula] 0.5 liters of lotus root juice, 0.5 liters of white honey, 500 grams of Rehmanniae Radix juice.

[Preparation Method] Combine the above three ingredients, place them in a pot, and simmer over a gentle flame until they form a syrup-like consistency.

[Usage] Hold half a spoonful in the mouth on an empty stomach and swallow it gradually, twice a day.

4.Coicis Semen and Smilax Glabra Porridge

[Formula] 50 grams of Coicis Semen (cleaned), 150 grams of Rice, 10 grams of Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma.

[Preparation Method] First, wash the rice and coix seed, wrap the Smilax glabra Roxb. (after washing) in gauze, then cook them together until the rice is cooked and the porridge becomes thick. Remove the Smilax glabra Roxb. and consume the porridge.

[Usage] Can be eaten as breakfast or a snack.

5.Red Adzuki Bean and Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli Porridge

[Functions] Clearing heat and resolving dampness, eliminating food retention and removing blood stasis.

[Indications] Applicable for signs of imbalance such as downward flow of damp-heat, premature ejaculation and spermatorrhea, frequent and urgent urination, urethral pain, turbid urine, and abdominal distension.

[Formula] Adzuki Bean 30 g, Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli 10 g.

[Preparation Method] Wash the red adzuki beans, place them in an aluminum pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, and then simmer over low heat until they are eighty percent cooked. Dry the chicken gizzard-lining membrane in an oven, grind it into a fine powder, add it to the pot with the red adzuki beans, stir well, and continue cooking until fully done.

[Usage] One dose per day.

6.Celery Beverage

[Functions] Cooling blood to stop bleeding.

[Indications] Hematospermia and hematuria.

[Formula] 2500 grams of celery.

[Preparation Method] Wash the fresh celery, crush it to extract the juice, and heat until boiling.

[Usage] Take 60 grams each time, three times a day.

7.Green millet porridge

[Functions] Inducing diuresis, unblocking the urinary tract, and relieving pain.

[Indications] Scanty and difficult urination, painful ejaculation, hematuria, and pain in the penis.

[Formula] Green millet 250 grams, 250 grams of scallion whites, an appropriate amount of fermented soybean, a little refined salt.

[Preparation Method] Rinse the green broomcorn millet thoroughly and place it in a pot. Add scallion whites and fermented soybeans, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until the porridge is cooked. Add salt and serve.

[Usage] Consume as breakfast.

8.Green-headed Duck Soup

[Functions] Clearing heat and promoting urination.

[Indications] Scanty and difficult urination, painful ejaculation.

[Formula] One green-headed duck, 120 grams each of radish, winter melon, and scallion whites, and a small amount each of ginger, salt, cooking wine, and monosodium glutamate.

[Preparation Method] Slaughter the duck, remove its feathers and internal organs, wash it thoroughly, and chop it into pieces the size of walnuts. Wash the radish and winter melon separately, peel them, remove their cores and seeds, and cut them into pieces slightly smaller than the duck pieces. Place them in a pot, add water, and boil until cooked. Remove them to eliminate any pungent odor. Use the original broth to cook the duck pieces. When the duck pieces are half-cooked, add ginger, scallion sections, and cooking wine. When the duck pieces are nearly tender, add the cooked radish, winter melon, and salt. Bring to a boil and cook briefly. Add monosodium glutamate just before removing from the pot.

[Usage] Consume on an empty stomach.

9.Lianzi Liuyi Decoction

[Functions] Clearing heat and promoting urination.

[Indications] Suitable for urinary system infections. Recommended for patients with signs of imbalance such as urgent urination, frequent urination, red and turbid urine, or accompanied by restless vexation and low-grade fever.

[Formula] Nelumbinis Semen (removed the bitter core) 60 g, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (raw) 10 g.

[Preparation Method] Add the above two herbs to a large bowl of water, simmer over low heat until the lotus seeds are soft and cooked, then add a little rock sugar.

[Usage] Eat the lotus seeds and drink the soup.

10.Lotus Leaf Powder

[Source] Empirical formula

[Functions] Clearing heat and stopping bleeding, ascending and dispersing clear yang.

[Indications] Hematospermia, hematuria.

[Formula] Folium Nelumbinis 50 grams (double the amount if fresh).

[Preparation Method] Grind into powder.

[Usage] Take 5 grams each time, once in the morning and once in the evening daily, administered with warm rice soup. For mild cases, 1 to 2 courses of supports; for severe cases, 3 courses of supports may achieve a supports.

11.Dried turnip

[Functions] Clear heat, moisten dryness, detoxify, and disperse blood stasis.

[Indications] Various stranguria syndromes, white turbid urine, hemospermia, and urethral pricking pain.

[Formula] 1500 grams of radish, appropriate amounts of honey and salt.

[Preparation Method] Wash the radish, peel it, and slice it. Soak the slices in honey for 10 minutes, then bake them on a tile until dry. Repeat the soaking and baking process (avoid burning), and perform this procedure three times in total.

[Usage] Chew and swallow several tablets daily with salt water, 4 to 5 times a day.

12.Pseudosciaena crocea Otolith and Angelica Decoction

[Indications] Urinary tract obstruction, urethral pricking pain.

[Formula] Auris calculus of Pseudosciaena crocea 15 g, Angelicae Sinensis Radix 15 g.

[Preparation Method] Decoct all ingredients together to make a decoction for drinking.

[Usage] Take one dose daily.

13.Mung bean sprout juice

[Preparation Method] Wash fresh mung bean sprouts and extract the juice by squeezing them with clean gauze. Add an appropriate amount of white sugar.
