Benefits
For syphilis sores, regardless of whether they are new or chronic, mild or severe; for syphilitic toxins causing pain in the tendons and bones, where other medications have proven ineffective.
Instructions for Use
Soak the toad in the wine, seal the bottle, and simmer two sprigs of fragrant herbs until the aroma is released, then remove them. The next day, drink an amount proportional to the size of the sore until intoxicated; in winter and summer, cover yourself warmly to induce sweating for best results. On the following day, take only half the previous dose; once the wine is finished, the sore will be cured.
Note
It is essential to avoid exposure to drafts for 7 days after taking the wine; also avoid certain foods and sexual activity.
