Drug Formulation

Schizonepeta spikelets 1 liang, White Aconite Root (roasted) 1 liang, Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine, then dried in an oven) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, then dried in an oven) 1 liang,Dipsacus asper (hairs removed, stir-fried) half liang, Clematis chinensis (stems removed) half liang, Amomum villosum half liang, Earthworm (soil removed, lightly stir-fried) 2.5 qian, Myrrh 2.5 qian, Natural Copper (quenched in vinegar 9 times) half liang, Aconite (roasted, skin and pith removed) half liang, Pinellia (washed in boiling water 7 times) half liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from flour boiled in wine to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 5–7 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine; for women, take with vinegar broth or Angelica wine.
