Instructions for Use

Take a small amount each time and blow it into the nostrils using a pen tube; if the patient sneezes, there is hope for recovery. Immediately take one fresh Aconite root—weighing at least one liang—peel it, and slice it thinly; add Magnolia bark and 10 large slices of old ginger (cut with the skin on); boil with one and a half bowls of water until reduced to half a bowl, then pour the entire mixture into the patient’s mouth.
