Drug Formulation

1.5 liang of white lead, 1 liang of lily seed (hulled).

Processing

First, grind the lily seeds until they are pulverized; then add the white lead and grind thoroughly. Next, pound raw sesame seeds to make a candle and light it. Separately, melt pork fat over the candle flame, allowing the fat to drip into the mixture of lily seeds and white lead. Grind the mixture again until it is as smooth as molten sugar. Wrap the tip of a thin stick with cotton and dip it into the medicine.

Instructions for Use

Apply while still warm to the inner corners of both eyes. This medicine must be used at night. If it has cooled, warm it again over the candle flame.
