Drug Formulation

1 set of Zi He Che (preferably from a young woman’s first-born son, with the placenta intact. Wash it under east-flowing water to remove blood vessels, then place it in 3 sheng of ash-free wine and 1 da he of Sichuan pepper. Put all ingredients into a sand, stone, or porcelain vessel and simmer over low heat. When the wine is nearly evaporated, remove from heat, let cool, and take out the mixture; discard the Sichuan pepper.Place only the Ziheche in a large sandstone basin, grind it into a paste with a large wooden mallet, spread it out to cool, sift it, and then add the following ingredients): half a liang of agarwood, 1 liang of ginseng, 2 liang of white poria, 1 liang of cistanche, half a liang of frankincense, and a small amount of musk.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the placenta, and form into pills as soon as possible, each the size of a paulownia seed, coated with genuine cinnabar.
