Drug Formulation

2 qian of gallnut, 4 qian of chebulic myrobalan (grind the above into a powder); 1 qian of orpiment (grind together with the above; this constitutes the red tooth remedy); 1 qian of green vitriol (raw), half a qian of verdigris (grind these two ingredients together until uniformly fine; this constitutes the blue tooth remedy).

Instructions for Use

Every morning after brushing your teeth, use a schizonepeta stalk dipped in the red tooth remedy to apply it to the interdental spaces. After the first application, dip the same stalk in the blue tooth remedy and apply it over the red remedy. Wait a short while after application, then gently rinse your mouth 1–2 times with warm water and stop.
