Processing

Combine the above ingredients with 12 jin of sesame oil, steep for 5 days, then simmer until the oil is completely reduced and strain out the residue. Add 4 jin 8 liang of Guang Dan over high heat, and simmer until the mixture is neither too hard nor too soft—when a drop of the liquid forms a bead that does not disperse. Store the mixture and bury it in the ground for 3 days to remove its fiery nature before use.

Five Exhaustions and Seven Injuries, injuries from carrying heavy loads, pain in tendons and bones—apply patches to Gaomang and Shenshu; abdominal distension, spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, disharmony between heart and stomach qi, tightness in the chest and diaphragm—apply patches to Shanzhong and Zhongwan; left-sided paralysis and right-sided weakness, numbness in hands and feet—apply patches to both Jianjing and Quchi; cold in the brain with phlegm congestion, unilateral or bilateral headaches—apply patches to Fengmen;For cold-induced nausea, coughing, and phlegm, apply patches to Huagai, Feishu, and Shanzhong; for cold-damp beriberi and weak, bent knees, apply patches to both Sanli points; for nocturnal emissions and leukorrhea, or cold semen leakage, apply a patch to Guanyuan;Small intestine hernia, with one side feeling heavy and sagging—apply a patch to the Qihai acupoint; Irregular menstruation, cold uterus, red or white vaginal discharge, abnormal uterine bleeding, or metrorrhagia—apply a patch to both Sanyinjiao acupoints; Dysentery and diarrhea, food stagnation with abdominal mass—apply a patch to the Dantian acupoint;Weakness in the limbs and spleen deficiency with night sweats: apply to the Liang Yaoyan acupoints; jaundice with abdominal distension and intestinal bleeding: apply to the Dantian and Yaoyan acupoints; phlegm-fire cough and asthma with shortness of breath: apply to the Fei Shu acupoint;For the nine types of qi-related pain, bloating, fullness, and nausea, apply plasters to the Huagai and Zhongwan acupoints; for malaria in both men and women (apply to the left side for men and the right side for women), apply plasters to the Tianjian Shi acupoint; for wandering qi throughout the body, apply plasters to the Zhangmen acupoint; for dizziness and headache, apply plasters to the Taiyin, Taiyang, and Zhangmen acupoints; for shoulder pain, apply plasters to the Jianjing acupoint; for lower back and back pain,apply to the Mingmen acupoint; for all types of trauma, boils, unexplained swellings, scrofula, stubborn tinea, and breast disorders in women, apply to the affected area.
