Drug Formulation

Half a liang of agarwood, half a liang of sandalwood, half a liang of southern myrrh, half a liang of frankincense, half a liang of myrrh, cloves, aconite root (roasted, hair removed),star anise, Jing Sanleng (vinegar-roasted), Guangmao (roasted), black pepper, cassia bark (peeled), galangal, croton seed (roasted, oil removed), green tangerine peel (pith removed), aged tangerine peel (white pith removed), barley sprouts, Sichuan aconite (roasted), licorice (roasted), and Sichuan pepper (seeds removed)—each in equal parts.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills the size of cherries using a vinegar paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose. Chew it thoroughly with 1 small cup of distilled liquor and 1 jujube (pitted), then swallow with cold rice soup. For acute abdominal pain, swallow with cold water; for intestinal pain due to injury, swallow with a decoction of frankincense; for masses, administer as described above. Take after meals or before bedtime, and consume dry food afterward to settle the stomach.
