30 g Polygonum multiflorum, 30 g Albizia bark, 15 g honey.

How To Make

Sort the Polygonum multiflorum and Albizia bark to remove impurities, wash them thoroughly, and air-dry. Cut the Polygonum multiflorum into small pieces and chop the Albizia bark finely. Place them together in a clay pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and simmer over medium heat twice, for 30 minutes each time. Combine the strained liquids from both decoctions, stir in the honey, and mix well.

Efficacy

Nourishes the heart and spleen. Indicated for geriatric neurosis due to deficiency of both the heart and spleen, manifested by palpitations, forgetfulness, restless sleep, frequent dreaming, easily startled, dizziness, fatigue, poor appetite, a lackluster complexion, a pale tongue with a thin white coating, and a fine, weak pulse.

Usage

Take in divided doses in the morning and evening, or as a single dose every night before bedtime.
