11 Traditional Chinese Medicinal Wines for Kidney Yang Deficiency

1.Curculigo Rhizome Wine

[Functions] Tonify the Kidney and strengthen yang, dispel wind-dampness.

[Indications] Sexual hypoactivity, impotence, cold pain in the lower back and knees, cold limbs with aversion to cold, cold semen, and frequent urination caused by deficiency of Kidney yang.

[Formula] Curculiginis Rhizoma 200 grams, wine 1000 grams.

[Preparation Method] Soak Curculiginis Rhizoma (xian mao) in black soybean juice for 3 days, then steam it nine times and dry it in the sun nine times. After that, place it in a covered glass bottle or porcelain container, pour in wine, seal the lid, and it can be taken for drinking after 7 days.

[Usage] Take a small cup each time, twice a day.

2.Xianlingpi Wine

[Indications] Applicable to signs of imbalance such as impotence in men, infertility in women, and numbness of the limbs caused by dual deficiency of yin and yang and decline of the fire of the Mingmen.

[Formula] Herba Epimedii 60 g, white wine 500 g.

[Preparation Method] Wash the Epimedium (Xian Ling Pi), drain it, place it into a gauze bag, tie the opening tightly, and put it into a wine jar. Pour white wine into the jar, seal it, and let it soak for 7 days.

[Usage] Take 10 to 20 milliliters each morning and evening.

3.Prawn Wine
