Drug Formulation

Phellodendron bark 4 liang (soaked in wine, stir-fried until brown), Anemarrhena rhizome 1.5 liang (soaked in wine, baked), Prepared Rehmannia root (soaked in wine) 2 liang, Peony root 1 liang, Dried tangerine peel (white pith removed) 1 liang, Achyranthes root (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Angelica root (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Decayed turtle shell (roasted with butter) 2 liang,Tiger Tibia (fried with ghee) 7 qian and a half, Cornus officinalis (flesh) 1 liang, Chinese Yam 1 liang, Agarwood 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Moutan Bark 1 liang, Eucommia ulmoides (fried with ghee) 1 liang, Alisma orientale 1 liang, Star Anise 1 liang, Ginseng 2 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Simmer black lamb meat in wine until it becomes a thick paste; remove the bones. Add two portions of pork spinal marrow, then simmer further. Mix with the powdered herbs to form pills the size of a tung seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 40–50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with fine wine, followed by a dry food to settle the stomach.
