Drug Formulation

Purple Aster (removed of stems and soil) 1 liang and a half; Apricot Kernels half sheng (removed of skin, tips, and double kernels; ground separately into a fine powder); Fresh Ginger Juice 3 he; Rehmannia Juice 5 he; Ghee 2 liang; Honey 1 sheng; Jujube Flesh half sheng; Fritillaria (core removed) 3 liang;White Poria (with black skin removed) 1 liang, Schisandra berries (roasted) 1 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, Licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped) 1 liang, Platycodon root (coarsely chopped, roasted) 1 liang, Lycium bark 1 liang.

Instructions for Use

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with various natural juices, as well as clarified butter, honey, and almonds. Combine in a copper or silver vessel and simmer over alternating high and low heat, stirring frequently to ensure even mixing. Bring to a boil 110 times; after the decoction is complete, simmer it three more times over a steamer. Take 1 spoonful after meals; immediately lie on your back for a short while, then gradually swallow the medicine. Take twice daily.
