Drug Formulation

Apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tips, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried) 1 liang; Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed, boiled first, and scum skimmed off) half a liang; Licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped) 1 liang; Schisandra berries (stir-fried) 1 liang.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 1 zhan of water and 1 jujube-sized piece of ginger (crushed); decoct until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take while warm.
