Drug Formulation

3 fen of Astragalus (chopped), 3 fen of Achyranthes (stems removed), 3 fen of Schisandra,Cinnamon Bark 3 fen, Poria 0.5 liang, White Peony Root 0.5 liang, Ginseng 0.5 liang (stem removed), Acanthopanax Bark 0.5 liang, Licorice 0.5 liang (lightly roasted until slightly reddish, chopped), Angelica Root 3 fen (chopped, lightly roasted), Magnetite 2 liang (crushed, rinsed with water to remove red liquid, wrapped in cloth).

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose. Add 1 large bowl of water, 1 pair of sheep kidneys (with fat and membranes removed), half a fen of fresh ginger, and 3 jujubes. Wrap the magnetite in the cloth and add it to the mixture. Simmer together until the liquid is reduced to 5 fen. Strain out the residue and take warm before meals. Best used in the fall.
