Formulas Name : Belamcanda and Ephedra Decoction
Chinese Name : 射干麻黄汤
Drug Formulation
13 pieces of Belamcanda (alternatively, 3 liang), 4 liang of Ephedra, 4 liang of fresh ginger, 3 liang of Asarum, 3 liang of Aster, 3 liang of Tussilago flower, half a sheng of Schisandra, 7 jujubes, and 8 pieces of Pinellia (large, washed; alternatively, half a jin).

Instructions for Use
Using 1 dou 2 sheng of water, first decoct Ephedra until it boils twice; skim off the foam, then add the remaining herbs. Simmer until reduced to 3 sheng, and divide into 3 warm doses.
