Drug Formulation
21 ancient copper coins (intact), 4 liang of sweet chrysanthemum flowers, 2 liang of Coptis (stems removed), 2 liang of Curcuma, 2 liang of Phellodendron (coarse bark removed, honey-roasted),half a liang of lead丹, half a liang of Taiyin Xuanjing stone, half a liang of well-spring stone, half a liang of dragon bone, half a liang of ash-free wood, half a liang of Wu Yi (peeled), half a liang of Daizhe, 1 liang of talc, 1 liang of cuttlefish bone (with hard parts removed),Rui Ren (shell removed) half liang, Borax half liang, Qilin Jie half liang, Myrrh half liang, Rock Salt half liang, Copper Green half liang, Ma Ya Xiao 1 fen, Frankincense 1 fen, Arsenic Sulfate 1 qian and a half, Musk 1 qian, Borneol 1 qian, Bear Bile 1 fen, Male Sparrow Droppings 7 grains, Talcum Powder 2 qian.

Processing
For the first five ingredients: crush the chrysanthemum flowers; finely chop the three ingredients starting with Coptis. Add 2 sheng of water and a copper coin, then simmer in a silver or stone vessel over low heat until reduced to 1 sheng. Filter out the residue using fresh cloth. For the ten ingredients starting with Lead丹: grind them into a fine powder, add 6 liang of honey, and mix thoroughly with the previous decoction. Simmer in a silver vessel over a double boiler for 6 shichen, then filter out the residue using fresh cotton.Take the 13 ingredients starting with Borax, grind them all finely and sift them, then grind them again until they are as fine as flour. Add them to the previous ointment and simmer in a double boiler until it reaches the consistency of thin syrup. If making pills, roll them into balls the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill at a time, dissolve it in water, and apply it to both inner corners of the eyes using a copper chopstick.
