Drug Formulation
Half a jin of northern jujubes, 4 liang of ginger (sliced), 4 liang of Chuanxiong (decoct the above ingredients with 3 bowls of water until reduced to a thick liquid; pound the ginger into a paste, mix it with the jujube pulp, and pound again until fine; coat your hands with sesame oil, shape the mixture into small, coin-sized cakes, bake them over low heat until dry, then add the following herbs), 4 liang of Atractylodes (soaked in rice washing water),fennel (roasted) 4 liang, licorice (roasted) 4 liang, cassia bark (peeled, fresh) 4 liang, shenqu 4 liang, barley malt (roasted) 4 liang, Atractylodes lancea (baked) 4 liang, amomum 2 liang, galangal (roasted) 2 liang, nutmeg (baked) 2 liang, cloves 1 liang, Sichuan ginger 2 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with water to form a thin paste, then roll into pills the size of a paulownia seed.
