Drug Formulation
Half a liang of white ox gall, one and a half liang of black ox gall, 3 liang of rhubarb, 7 qian and a half of areca nut, 7 qian and a half of frankincense, 7 qian and a half of tangerine peel, 7 qian and a half of aniseed, 3 qian of pangolin scale (roasted), 4 qian of cinnamon bark, 4 qian of peach kernels, 4 qian of angelica root tips, 4 qian of thunder seed, and 5 qian of soapwort (decocted into one zhan of liquid, strained to remove residue, then stir-fried and ground into powder).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a powder; mix with a paste made from Shenqu boiled in soap solution to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take about one qian per dose, washed down with plain hot water; for cases of deficiency with underlying excess, take a tonic formula intermittently.
