Formulas Name : Buddha’s Hand Detoxifying Ointment
Chinese Name : 佛手祛毒膏
Drug Formulation
2 liang of rhubarb, 2 liang of gardenia, 1 liang of white clematis, 1 liang of forsythia, half a liang of cimicifuga, and half a liang of Eupatorium.

Processing
Coarsely crush the above ingredients, decoct them together with 1 jin of refined lard, and wait until the White Clematis turns charred before straining out the residue to ensure purity. Add beeswax as needed to form a paste. Pour into a porcelain jar and allow to cool.
