Drug Formulation
Half a qian of musk, half a qian of Chuanxiong, half a qian of Qianghuo, half a qian of Tianma, half a qian of Danggui, half a qian of bile-fermented Nanxing, half a qian of Banxia (washed 7 times in boiling water, then simmered for one fu-shi), 1.5 qian of scorpion and octopus, 1.5 qian of stiff silkworm, 1.5 qian of cinnabar (half for the medicine, half for the coating).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly, and form into pills the size of a chicken’s head using a clear glutinous rice paste.

Instructions for Use
Administer 1 pill per dose, dissolved in Jingjie Decoction; if the child’s jaw is clenched shut, rub the medicine onto the teeth.
