Drug Formulation

Cistanche (washed with wine to remove soil) 1.5 liang, one pair of mutton kidneys (fat membrane removed, finely sliced), antelope horn (shavings) 2 liang, magnetite (heated until red-hot, quenched in vinegar, and ground into powder) 3 liang, coix seed 3 liang.

Processing

Finely chop all ingredients except the mutton kidneys, magnetite, and coix seeds, and divide into three doses.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, use 3.5 sheng of water; decoct until reduced to 2 sheng; strain out the residue; add 1 liang each of magnetite and coix seed, along with 1 pair of sheep kidneys; cook into porridge; and consume as desired on an empty stomach.
