Chinese Name : 鹤虱槟榔汤

Drug Formulation

2 liang of crane lice (1 liang for children), 2–7 areca nuts.

Pain in the heart caused by hedgehog lice.

Instructions for Use

Boil areca nuts in 6 sheng of pork broth until reduced to 3 sheng; strain out the solids, then add powdered crane lice. Fast from the previous night, and take the entire dose on an empty stomach the next morning. Shortly thereafter, the patient will have a bowel movement and vomit water, resulting in a permanent cure.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods and vinegar for 7 days.
