Drug Formulation

4 liang of Jing Sanling, 4 liang of Peng’e Zhu (washed), 1 liang of Yuanhua (stems and leaves removed).

Processing

Place all the herbs together in a porcelain jar, cover them completely with 5 sheng of rice vinegar, seal the jar tightly, and simmer over a charcoal fire.When it feels slightly dry, remove the Jing Sanling and Peng’e Zhu; immediately pound the Yuanhua into pieces. Stir-fry it in the remaining vinegar until slightly charred, then roast it vigorously with the other two ingredients until completely dry. Pound and sift into a fine powder. Make pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a rice vinegar-based paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 to 5 pills per dose, swallowing them with ginger and salted water; for women, take them with vinegar water.
