Chinese Name : 宋真宗皇帝勅封续液膏
Drug Formulation
1 qian of bear bile, 1 qian of ox gallstone, half a qian of borneol (ground into powder), 1 qian of lily seed (husk removed), 1 qian of borax (ground into powder), 1 liang of Coptis, and 2 liang of honey.

Processing
Place the four ingredients—bear bile, ox gallstone, lily seed, and Coptis—in a porcelain vessel and simmer with two large bowls of running water until reduced to half a bowl. Filter through a double layer of cotton to remove the dregs, then add the honey. Simmer over alternating high and low heat until the mixture turns purple and forms a thread when dipped; do not overcook or undercook. Remove from heat, mix in the borax and powdered borneol until uniform, seal tightly in a porcelain jar, and bury it in the ground for 7 days to dispel the fiery energy.

Effective for all eye diseases, both chronic and acute.
Instructions for Use
Apply a small amount to the affected eye using a cotton swab, keep your eyes closed for a short while until the medicinal properties have taken effect, and repeat three times daily.
Note
Avoid foods that induce wind-heat.
