Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Akebia stem (chopped), half a liang of dried Rehmannia root (sliced and roasted), half a liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, half a liang of sunflower seeds, 1 fen of roasted crucian carp or carp scales,1 qian of water beetle (head, legs, and wings removed), 1 qian of spotted beetle (head, legs, and wings removed), and 1 fen of glutinous rice (stir-fried over low heat with the water beetle and spotted beetle until the rice turns yellow).
