Drug Formulation
Euphorbia (Da Ji) 1 liang, Datura (Yuan Hua) 1 liang, Euphorbia (Gan Sui) 1 liang, Sweet Shepherd’s Purse (Tian Ting Li) 1 liang, Croton Seed (Ba Dou, shell removed) 1 liang, Black Pharbitis (Qian Niu) 3 liang (roasted, finely ground), White Mustard Seed (Bai Jie Zi, roasted) 2 liang.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills the size of a millet seed using rice paste.
Benefits
Indicated for wind-heat stagnation in the upper burner, or retention of fluid in the epigastrium, accompanied by shortness of breath, swelling of the limbs, edema extending from the legs to the abdomen, chronic phlegm-heat in the abdomen, and stagnation of various qi.
Instructions for Use
Take 3–7 pills at a time, swallowed with clear tea; warm water may also be used. The remedy is effective once bowel movements occur.
Note
After taking this medicine, avoid consuming licorice-based medications or hot water.
