Formulas Name : Fragrant Sulfur Cake

Chinese Name : 香硫饼

Drug Formulation

2 qian of musk, 4 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of borax, 4 qian of Asarum (all finely ground into powder), 2 qian of horn thorns, 2 qian of Sichuan aconite tips (both boiled down with half a jin of yellow wine until dry, then ground into powder), and 6 liang 4 qian of sulfur.

Processing

First, place sulfur, horn thorns, and Sichuan aconite root tips in a copper ladle and melt over a fire; then add the four powdered ingredients mentioned above and stir evenly. Pour the mixture onto clean earth, allow it to cool, pick it up, and crush it into pieces the size of soybeans.

Instructions for Use

To use, shape dry flour into pieces the size of a coin but slightly thinner. First place one on the affected area, then place one piece of the medicine on top. Light it with incense ash and perform moxibustion three times in succession; the condition will be cured.
