Chinese Name : 甘遂槟榔散

Drug Formulation

Gansui, Qingpi (with white pith removed), Chenpi (with white pith removed), and 1 qian of areca nut (used raw).

From *Pu Ji Fang*, Volume 386.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Benefits

For edema and water retention in children.

Instructions for Use

Administer with Perilla and Papaya Decoction; for leg swelling, administer with Papaya Decoction.

Note

Avoid taking medications containing licorice.
