Formulas Name : Goji Berry Decoction

Chinese Name : 枸杞子煎

Drug Formulation

3 sheng of goji berries, 1 sheng of almonds (peeled, de-tipped, and ground), 3 sheng of raw rehmannia root (ground to extract juice), 10 fen of ginseng, 10 fen of poria, half a jin of asparagus root (pounded to extract juice; dried and ground into powder is also acceptable), 5 sheng of white honey, 1 set of ox marrow (may be omitted), and 5 sheng of clarified butter.

Processing

Prepare each ingredient separately according to the prescribed method. First, decoct the juices until they resemble thin syrup; then add all the medicinal ingredients and simmer until the mixture resembles divine ointment—it is ready when it does not disperse upon contact with water.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 spoonfuls per dose, mixed with wine.

Note

Avoid carp and vinegar-based foods.
