Drug Formulation

36 jin of white Poria (chopped, boiled in water for one day), 24 jin of pine resin (refined), and 12 jin of pine nut kernels.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Place 2 shuo and 4 sheng of white honey in a copper cauldron and simmer over low heat for one day and one night; gradually add the medicinal powder, stirring until well blended, and continue simmering over low heat for seven days and seven nights. Once ready, form into pills the size of cherries.

Instructions for Use

Take 7 pills each time, washed down with wine before meals, three times daily; if one wishes to abstain from grains, take a single large dose until satiated, and it will not cause muscle wasting.

Note

Avoid foods containing rice vinegar.
