Processing

Finely chop the above herbs. Use 2 dou 5 sheng of high-quality, ash-free wine. Place the herbs in a porcelain jar and cover them with the wine. Seal the jar’s opening with ten or so layers of rice paper. Let it steep for half a month in winter, 7 days in summer, and 10 days in spring and autumn.

Instructions for Use

Take one large white bowlful each morning, before noon, in the afternoon, and before bedtime.

Note

Avoid meat from chicken, pork, fish, mutton, donkey, horse, poultry, shrimp, and crab, as well as fried or greasy foods, raw or cold fruits, hot buckwheat noodles, and all substances that agitate the qi or induce wind.
