Instructions for Use
First, place the jasmine flowers in a clean bowl. Next, roast the sesame seeds in a copper spoon until fragrant. Pour one tea bowl of water over the sesame seeds, bring to a boil once or twice, then pour the mixture—including the sesame seeds—into the bowl of jasmine flowers. Cover lightly for a short while to infuse the floral aroma, then give it to the laboring woman to drink. Those with strong vital energy should consume both the decoction and the herbs together; those with weak vital energy should drink only the decoction—it will take effect immediately.
