Drug Formulation

8 fen of small Coptis rhizome, 1.5 qian of Scutellaria baicalensis root, 6 qian of ground talc, 2 piao of bamboo sap, 1.5 qian of small Trifoliate orange fruit, 1.5 qian of Xian Banxia, and 5 qian of raw coix seed.

Instructions for Use

First, decoct 1 liang of winter melon seeds, 2 qian of thread-like Tongcao, and 0.5 fen of lampwick in water to make a decoction; use this as the base liquid. Then decoct the above herbs, strain out the residue, add 2 drops of fresh ginger juice, and mix in 1.5 qian of fresh Acorus gramineus leaves (rubbed until soft and then added raw).
