Processing
First, reflux the first five herbs with 80% ethanol twice (4 times the volume for the first reflux, 3 times the volume for the second), for 3 and 2 hours, respectively; grind the latter five herbs into a fine powder, sieve through a 100-mesh sieve, and mix thoroughly.Combine the resulting decoctions and the ethanol-recovered solution, filter out the sediment, and concentrate under reduced pressure to form a thin paste. Add 80 jin of starch to form a soft mass, dry it, then incorporate the fine powder mixture and grind into a fine powder. Form granules using dilute ethanol, dry them, grade them, add 5% magnesium stearate, mix thoroughly, and compress into tablets. The total weight of the granules is 431.5 jin, yielding 1,078,000 tablets.Apply a pale green coating (for every 100 jin of tablet core, use 33–35 jin of talcum powder, 38–40 jin of white sugar, 2 g of food-grade lemon yellow dye, and 2 g of indigo blue), store in a cool, dry place indoors, and keep tightly sealed.
