Drug Formulation

21 Mylabris beetles (remove heads, wings, and legs; stir-fry with glutinous rice until golden; use only 2 characters’ worth of Mylabris powder), 1 liang of black pharbitis root (ground into powder), 1 qian of Schizonepeta spikelets, 1 qian of dried silkworm (stir-fried to remove silk and mouthparts), 1.5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 qian of Akebia, and 1 qian of talc.

Instructions for Use

Prepare one dose; take it at the beginning of the fifth watch, mixed with ash-free wine. Be sure to take one dose of Yuxie Powder the night before at bedtime, mixed with rice soup.At the first watch of the next day, take the aforementioned medicine; at daybreak, if a substance resembling fresh walnut meat is passed in the urine, the treatment is effective. If not, pause for three days, then take it again according to the instructions. If urination is painful, scanty, and urgent, take Amber Powder mixed with lampwick decoction to expel the pathogenic substances; do not induce vomiting. Afterward, take Blood-Activating Pills for restoration. Apply Mica Ointment to the ulcer site.
