Drug Formulation

1 jin of pear seeds (finely ground and pitted), 5 liang of salt bran, 5 liang of orchid seeds, 3 liang of “ash-free wood” (cow dung burned until red-hot), 3 liang of whole chestnuts (dried), 2 liang of licorice (chopped, used raw), 3 liang of black beans (roasted), 2 liang of Coptis (stems removed),3 liang of mung beans (roasted), 5 liang of cow manure ash, and 3 liang of red peony root.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder; mix with refined honey to form a paste.
