Drug Formulation

1 healthy pig’s stomach (de-fatted and cleaned; fill it with garlic, sew it shut; add 14 bowls of water; bring the water to a boil first, then add the stomach; simmer until the liquid is completely reduced; pound it into a paste for use), 5 liang of Atractylodes (fine powder), 5 liang of Magnolia Bark (fine powder), 5 liang of Dried Tangerine Peel (fine powder), and 2 liang of Sichuan Pepper (fine powder).

Processing

Place the latter four herbs into the prepared stomach, grind into a fine powder; if the mixture is free of fibers, form it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
