Drug Formulation
1 jin of dodder seeds (sort and clean; soak in ash-free rice wine for one day and one night; the next morning, drain the wine and steam in a small steamer; sun-dry until evening; repeat the soaking and steaming process nine times; then grind into a fine powder under starlight or moonlight), half a jin of raw rehmannia root (soak in ash-free rice wine for three days and three nights; rinse thoroughly with fresh wine; place in a porcelain bowl and pound until extremely pulpy).
