Drug Formulation

4 liang of fetal hair, 4 liang of rock salt (place both in a jar, seal tightly, and calcine over a fire for the duration of three incense sticks; allow to cool completely before removing and grinding into a fine powder), 4 liang of Polygonum multiflorum, 4 liang of wintergreen berries (steamed and sun-dried nine times each), 4 liang of Eclipta prostrata, 4 liang of goji berries, 4 liang of raw Rehmannia root, 4 liang of Angelica sinensis, 4 liang of Poria cocos, and 1 liang of ginseng.

Processing

Boil with 10 bowls of water until reduced to 5 bowls of liquid; strain out the residue and simmer into a paste. Add the first two ingredients, stir until well blended, and divide the mixture into several small jars.
