Drug Formulation

Rehmannia glutinosa 200g, Ligustrum lucidum (steamed with wine) 60g, Angelica sinensis 60g, Codonopsis pilosula 60g, Dipsacus asper 60g, Cuscuta chinensis (pressed into cakes) 60g, Dioscorea opposita 100g, Schisandra chinensis (steamed with vinegar) 60g, Polygonum multiflorum vine 100g, Lycium barbarum bark 100g, Pearl oyster shell 100g, talc powder as needed.

Processing

Take Chinese yam, Chinese angelica root, Prince Ginseng, and Schisandra berries. Grind the pearl oyster shell into a fine powder and sift it. Place the remaining herbs in a pot and decoct twice; combine the decoctions, filter, and collect the supernatant. Concentrate it into a thick paste, mix thoroughly with the herbal powder, dry, grind into a fine powder again, form into small pills using cold boiled water, dry, polish with talcum powder, and weigh each 10-pill dose at 1 g.
