Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Red Chariot Messenger, half a liang of Angelica sinensis (sliced, roasted), half a liang of Poria cocos (black skin removed), 1 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata (branches removed), 1 liang of Dehuo (root base removed), 1 liang of Asarum sieboldii (stems and leaves removed), 1 liang of Ginseng, and 15 pieces of Aconite (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed).

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients into pieces the size of sesame or bean seeds.

Instructions for Use

Use 1 dou of water, 1 dou of millet, and 1 jin 5 liang of malt to brew wine. Pour the mixture into a 3-dou jar and seal it tightly. Place the jar inside an oil-filled bag to prevent water from entering, then submerge it at the bottom of a well for three nights. Once the medicine is ready, place it in a high, dry location and let it settle for two days. Take half a zhan at dawn, three times a day, gradually increasing the dose.
