Instructions for Use

Hang the rooster by a rope until dead, remove the feathers and feces, cut it into 4 pieces, add 4 liang of ginger, half a jin of glutinous dates, and 6 jin of aged wine. Place the mixture in a large earthenware jar, seal the opening with clay, and simmer in a double boiler for one day. Rinse with cold water to remove the heat toxicity, then consume on an empty stomach along with the ginger and dates.
